Injectables can be used to effectively reduce sweating by temporarily blocking the nerve signals that stimulate sweat glands. This treatment, often used for hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating), involves injecting to reduce the release of acetylcholine, a chemical that tells sweat glands to produce sweat, thus reducing perspiration.
