Service Description
Injectables can be used to effectively reduce sweating by temporarily blocking the nerve signals that stimulate sweat glands. This treatment, often used for hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating), involves injecting to reduce the release of acetylcholine, a chemical that tells sweat glands to produce sweat, thus reducing perspiration. Treatment may not be suitable if you: • Are pregnant or breastfeeding • Have active infection or skin disease in the treatment area • Have severe allergies or history of anaphylaxis • Have uncontrolled medical conditions A full consultation will always be carried out prior to treatment
